- General note - Famous mosque of Taluksangay, Zamboanga City, reconstructed in 1969. Formerly made of wood; built after World War II. The present structure has retained the form and shape of the old mosque, including the central dome which is now made of aluminum. Two other domes, made of wood and painted red, were discarded. The egee-shaped central dome resting on a circular pendentive is decorated with arcatures.
