- General note - Photo shows the provincial capitol which was constructed in 1905 during the administration of General Leonard Wood, and completed in 1907 during the term of Governor Tasker H. Blias. The L-shaped structure, located on the corner of Madrid and Voluntarios streets was the seat of the government of the Moro Province until 1913, when the Department of Mindanao and Sulu was created.
