| General Note |
- General note - In July 1903, skirmishes "between the American forces and vestiges of the local revolutionaries took place in this sitio, northwest of the town proper and perched on the slope of its mountainous boundary. A certain Captain Roberts led about 50 cavalrymen in storming the defenses of Colonel Pedro Tecson. The rebels'' mastery of the rugged terrains caused the bloody defeat of the American pursuers. Captain Roberts was captured, taken to Mount Corona and was detained. Colonel Tecson, reacting to the various pressures of the enemies, started negotiations with the American Provost Marshall in Sibul. On March 29, 1904, after being persuaded by his prisoner, Colonel Tecson surrendered to the American elements. He was appointed the first Civil Governor of Bulacan.
