| General Note |
- General note - The lake, even during the early Spanish period, or perhaps earlier, has always been an important source of livelihood among the shore dwellers. Caught here are various species of fresh water fish, principally: pidianga (glossogobius spp.), balanak (mugil spp.), guingao (lutianus argentimaculatus), langob (caranx spp.), casili (anguilla mauritiana), and haruan (ophiscephalus striatus). In the photo fishermen are seen hauling their catch to their bancas.
