- General note - Another photo of the lake shows its eastern section, with an abandoned sawdust wharf in the background and farther, a part of the Diwata mountain range which separates Surigao from Agusan. The water supply of the lake comes mainly from 3 rivers: Pugo, Magpayang and Sinaingan. Abundant rainfall and a number of small springs emptying into it add to the lake''s clear surface which stands some 82 feet above sea level during the greater part of the year.
