- General note - Nesled within the craggy Mantayupan Range in the east of Cebu, this csenic waterfalls was once rivulet. It was named after the legendary sweethearts, Mantalaga and Ayupan. Barrio folks say music can be heard emanating from its recesses on quiet nights. When the moon appears, a diminutive city of fairies (subjects of Haring Mantalaga, a gigantic octopus). may be seen frolicking around the beautiful maiden, Ayupan.
