General Note
  • General note - Situated on a hilltop in Marawi City overlooking Lake Lanao, it was once a colony created by Hilario Camino Moncado an ex-California labor leader. His colony is a landmark for tourists. Statues and controversial works of art done in concrete abound in the place. The buildings were accidentally gutted by fire on January 6, 1960. Its present upkeep is maintained by voluntary contributions from the descendants of the original colonists.
