| General Note |
- General note - At the extremity of Punta Cruz, a slight promontory on the western coast of Bohol island, is a rocky cliff underworn by sea, some 10 ft. high from the ground at low tide. Found on top are two landmarks of the Spanish era: a wooden cross and behind it, a stone tower built at the end of the 16th. century to repel Muslim attacks coming from the south. These landmarks are found upon entering Maribojoc bay from Bohol Strait. Fifty meters inward is a barrio situated on an elevated plain, also named Punta Cruz and a part of Haribojoc town.
