General Note
  • General note - A monument to the American regime established in Mambajao in 1901 is the concrete fountain standing more than 10 feet high. (Constructed in 1914, it is situated along the main road and just a few meters away from the now-abandoned Mambajao wharf. Nearby is a concrete kiosk where native musicians used to play during Sundays. The site became a popular park for weekend promenaders. Mount Hibok-Hibok can be seen in the background backdrop.
