General Note
  • General note - Sariaya is the so-called "snobbish town" of Quezon province, for here lives the province''s wealthiest families and coconut planters. Once there was a time when only carefully hand-picked and well-to-do people could be invited to its town fiestas. Photo shows the town site as seen from the top floor of the church bell tower, with the tiled rooftop of Anacleto Enriquez''s mansion overlooking the rest of the town. Body of water seen far in the background is Tayabas bay. Sariaya is famous for its annual celebration of the harvest festival which is held in May.
