General Note
  • General note - This photo of Binondo was taken from a building on the south bank of the Pasig. The debris in the foreground are all that remains of the plush bazars and restaurants that lined Rosario Street. Plaza Calderon, the vacant area on the left, is bounded on the east by the Binondo Church, which was almost totally destroyed. The bell tower (left of center), minus its cross, still stands.
