- General note - The Legislative Building on Padre Burgos Street, viewed from the northwest after the Battle of Manila in February 1945. The intention of city planner David Burnham was for the building to be one of several structures to rise in the national government center. But only three--the Agriculture, Finance and Legislative buildings--were actually constructed.
