- Notes - Photo shows the fourth home of the club which started out in 1898 as a propaganda organization for a Philippine republic. Its first president was Isidro de Santos, a rich Tondo resident who was a friend of Rizal. It was reorganized as El Club Internacional in the 1900s and then renamed Club Filipino after relative peace had been reinstated in the country. The club moved to its site in 1021 Avenida Rizal in 1909.
