| General Note |
- General note - Angered by the abuses of the American soldiers stationed in their town (Batangas) several natives hatched a plan to wipe them out in a surprise attack. Capitan Vale (El Bravo, a name he earned because of his feats), was one among those who organized the attack and negotiated with the guerillas in the mountains. He led the fight that lasted less than a hour and fled to the mountains with the other townfolks.
