| General Note |
- General note - A worker fashions a bentwood chair that doubles as a bed. Vertical looping of the rattan strips is the first step; it is done unitl all parallel lines are filled in. When the fibers are woven in diagonally, the chair begins to look like a finished piece of furniture. . The frayed ends on the underside are then trimmed, and two coats of shellac, thinned with alcohol, give the chair a smooth finish.
