General Note
  • General note - Not all sugar centrals cultivate the land on which the cane is grown. Instead they have contract with the sugar planters. The sugar is divided between the central and the grower at the end of the milling season. Several trucks like this haul the cane to the mill and stops by the side of a small building. Here the load is scaled to determine the tonnage per truck and the total delivery of every planter.
