Notes	Notes - Seen in photo is the Intendencia building, which housed the offices of the Insular Treasury, Civil Service Board, Insular Auditor, Bureaus of Coast and Geodetic Survey, Forestry, Mining, Public Lands, and Archives in 1903. It was built in 1823 but was ruined by an earthquake in 1863. (Source: Philippine Architecture during the Pre-Spanish and Spanish Periods, Norma Alarcon, 1991). This was formerly the Custom House in the late 19th century. The Santo Domingo Church is at right.
