General Note
  • General note - Fishing is also done with the salambao. This consists of a raft of reeds or bamboo on which is erected a triangular apparatus, from which movable a net is attached. A net is so constructed that the fish may enter, but are unable to escape. The raft is moored, with 2 or 3 fishermen on it, who are always on the alert for fish to enter the net.
