General Note
  • General note - Fisherman and his son make an early morning visit to their fish trap, called tagub in Negros. These consist of bamboo screens which are replaced every year. They are also changed in position - pasuba, when the fishes go upstream and pailig, when the fishes go downstream. A novel introduction in Philippine fishing is the wire mesh pen which is estimated to last longer.
