- General note - The interior of the jeepney upon completion looks relatively bare and simple. But as soon as the driver gets his brand new jeepney, crocheted curtains and additional plastic trimmings are hung, stickers are glued in the windshield and names of screen idols and titles of current pop hits are scribbled on the ceiling. Recently, drivers have been installing stereo-cassette sets. Portrait of a favorite patron saint is enshrined in the front mirror bedecked with leis of sampaguitas or other flowers.
