| Notes |
- Notes - Photo shows the ruins of Fort Almonte. Built during the 1850s on the north of Lake Lanao, the fort was named after General Pedro Almonte, who led a campaign into the Lanao interior in 1639. During World War II, it was occupied by the Japanese. Situated on top of a hill on the Liangan Central School grounds, it is being used today as a camping site of Muslim pupils whose forefathers helped built it.
