| Notes |
- Notes - Photo shows the ruins of the fort. The fort was built in the 1880s. During World War II, the fort was occupied by guerilla forces and named Camp Luna. Early in the morning of April 29,1942, the town of Parang was subjected to naval bombardments, which forced the fort''s engineers under Lt. Manuel Mandac to demolish all the installations in the camp. The demolition was so thorough and quick that soon Parang was enveloped in flames. The wharves and gasoline dumps in Parang went up in smoke and the enemy was unable to land. This fort is now open to the public.
