| Notes |
- Notes - A photoengraving of the artillery quarters in Cavite. The triangular fort was built in the 17th century to protect the Port of Cavite, which rose in importance as a trading center and became the place where galleons were built and loaded for the journey to Acapulco. It was a witness to pivotal events in Philippine history, including the Cavite Mutiny of 1872. (Source: Fortress of Empire, Rene Javellana, 1997)
