- General note - Shown is the marker erected in front of the Reyes residence of Malolos, Bulacan. Here, on 12 December 1888, twenty-one young women of the town open and evening school where they could be taught the Spanish language. Jose P. Rizal wrote them on 22 February 1889 from London lauding their initiative, diligence and nationalistic fervor.
