- General note - Shown is the marker erected by the Philippine Historical Institute on the façade of the convent of the Barasoain Catholic Church in Malolos, Bulacan. From his office in this convent on 21 January 1899, General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed a new constitution which was earlier framed in Barasoain Church by delegates led by Felipe G. Calderon. The convent was also the site of the Literario-Cientifica Universidad de Filipinas authorized by General Aguinaldo on 15 September 1898 and established on 19 October 1898.
