| General Note |
- General note - Shown is market on the monument erected in Baao, Camarines to honor one of its favorite sons who became the first Filipino bishop (June 29, 1906) to govern the see of Nueva Caceres. In 1904, Barlin, in his capacity as apostolic administrator of the see of Nueva Caceres sede vacante brought action against both Father Vicente Rairez and the Municipality of Lagonoy (Camarines Sur) who had earlier (1902) "severed connection with the Pope at Rome and his representatives in the Philippines" and taken over the Church property in that town. A decision handed down by the Supreme Court in 1906 awarded the property in question to the Roman Catholic Church.
