| General Note |
- General note - Monument of Hilario Camino Moncado, before the fire of January 6, 1960, was said to revolve facing the sun at all times. This was done with the aid of a mechanical device hidden from view. One of the most colorful personalities of the 1930's, Moncado was born in the poor barrio of Pondol, Balamba, Cebu. While still young, he left the country and went to Hawaii as a laborer, and then U.S. as a labor leader. He organized successfully the Filipino Federation of America, and returned to the Philippines in 1933; he became the official timekeeper of the Constitutional Convention as the delegate-elect from Cebu. He was the first Filipino the have traveled across the Pacific as a passenger on the "Hawaii clipper" of the Pan American Airways from the U.S. to the Philippines on October 27, 1936.
