- Notes - Photo shows the ruins of Fort San Pedro in Iloilo. Ruins of the fort which was also used as a command post of the 61st Division of the Philippines Army during World War II. The contingent was inducted into the USAFFE on September 1, 1941. On April 16, 1942, the Japanese landed in Iloilo and subsequently took control of the province. (also see AR00205).
