- General note - Photo show the bronze statue that used to stand in plaza Santo Tomas, Facing the University of Santo Tomas in Intramuros. The monument was made in Paris; Financed largely by the University which supervised its erection and by popular subscription, and unveiled on 2 July 1891. In the mid-30s, the University moved to its present site on España Street bringing along the statue which now stands in front of the main Building.
