| General Note |
- General note - Rizal monument in front of the Rizal provincial capitol at Pasig. The statue is life-size and by assiduous research, Tolentino was able to arrive as near as possible to the original, who was of average height (five-foot-three) and weight. Tolentino has worked on three other Rizal statues, one of them in San Luis, Pampanga, both in an upright position. It took Tolentino about one month to model the clay, after which it was sent to Italy for casting in bronze and costs, roughly, P15,000. The pose is the sculptor's own composition, and the face is a cross composition of many photographs lent him by Dr. Ongpin, who own one of the largest Rizaliana hereabouts.
