Vinther who saved Bago bridge and the residents of Bacolod from annihilation in March 29, 1945. a member of the American forces of liberation, he led his troops from Pulupandan to Bacolod with valor. The feat made him a hero, especially to residents of Bacolod who erected this monument in his honor.
