- General note - This monument stands on a lot owned by the family of Julio diaz, 1848 - October 9, 1918. Popularly knows as Capitan Julio, he was twice appointed mayor of the municipality of Talisay. A member of the revolucionary committee of Negros, he was also one of the hacenderos who supported the establishment of the Talisay-Silay Milling Company.
