| General Note |
- General note - The provincial board in 1955 erected a monument in honor of the province's most illustrious son, Manuel L. Quezon. Standing some 20 feet high on a pedestal, the bronze statue was unveiled by the late president Ramon Magsaysay on August 19 of the same year. Quezon was born in Baler, one of the coastal towns in the northern part of the province, which was named after his demise.
