General Note
  • General note - Marker at the town plaza recounts particulars in the Pagbilao's early history. Established by its first municipal captain, Luis Felipe in 1765, the town built its church in 1792, its first municipal school in 1821, and its first municipal building in 1885. Fr. Rufino Febre served as the first parish priest (he cam in 1791), while Celino de Castro became the fist town executive appointed by the Americans in 1901.
