- General note - Cemetery leased by Jose Bonifacio Roxas to British Consul John W. Farren in 1864. Protestant foreigners during the Spanish and American periods - merchants, mariners, shopkeepers, traders - were buried in the cemetery. Most were English, but non-Catholic Germans, French, Americnas, Italians, and Japanese were also laid to rest here.
