It feeds on insects. Breeding period is from May to September. The nest is situated up in tall trees on the fork of horizontal branches: it is a shallow saucer woven from dried gras, moss and spider web and lined with soft materials. Three to four eggs make a clutch. The color of the eggs vary from light to pink yellow of light orange-pink with mottlings of pink or purple.
