  • Notes - Scientific name: Chloropsis palawanensis Family: Chloropseidae Local name: Dalipdipan Other common name: Yellow-throated Leafbird Conservation status: LC (Least Concern) Common in Palawan, the Calamianes, and Balabac, the dalipdipan inhabits mangrove swamps and clearings in lowland and mountain forests. It feeds on insects, spiders, fruits, and flower nectars, and breeds in April and May. It is rather difficult to spot because its grass-green feathers make an excellent camouflage.
