| Notes |
- Notes - Tree from which comes the buntal fiber used to make hats. From the unopened leaf is obtained the raffia-like fiber used to make cloth and string. Strips of unopened leaf are also made into mats, bags, sails, and baskets--e.g., the bayong. From the sap tuba, vinegar, syrup, and sugar are obtained. Buds--ubod--are a relished ingredient in certain native dishes.
