| Notes |
- Notes - Known also as the Brazilian fire tree: bears clusters of bright-yellow flowers, especially in February and March. The tree is very tall and spreading, with finely divided leaves about 3 feet long; leaflets are grayish underneath. It has long, rounded pods about 4 feet long, containing one long-winged seed. It usually sheds off leaves before flowering.
