- Notes - This species is common on trees in the vicinity of Manila and other low regions of central Luzon. It is a plant that grows to about 15 to 20 inches in height and has recurved, channeled leaves twelve to fifteen inches long and one-half to three-quarters of an inch wide. V. lamellata is popular because of its vigorous growth and frequent flowering.
