| Notes |
- Notes - Tandikan. Restricted to Palawan where it lives on the forest floor. Very elusive, wary and difficult to observe. Feeds on worms, grubs, insects, reptiles, centipede, berries, seeds and plant materials. Lays a clutch of two eggs. They are the most beautiful and most delicious edible birds in the world. They are basically terrestial showing arboreal habits only at night while roosting.
