| Notes |
- Notes - The tamaraw is a small, rounded buffalo akin to the carabao, but with shorter legs and horns. It is found only in Mindoro. The Bubalus Mindorensis or tamaraw, is a unique animal from the Philippines found only in Mindoro, is a dwarf species of e Bovidae family of buffalos. Unlike the native domestic carabao to which it is related, the tamaraw is fierce and aggressive and has been confused with anoa of Celebes, a small wild ox. Hence, it is sometimes referred to as Anoa Mindorensis
