| Notes |
- Notes - Two kinds of marine turtles inhabit the Turtle Islands: the green(Chelonia japonica ) locally called pudno and the hawksbill turtle (Erethmochelys imbricata) or sisikan. When a mother turtle is ready to lay her eggs. she crawls up the shore at night and clears the chosen spot with her front flippers. The female turtle in this photo is shoving sand in order to cover her back.
