Right, male specimen and left, female. Of the family Amathusiidae, specimens were collected in Cebu. Few of these are brightly colored. Most butterflies fly at dusk, and at daytime remain in the forest shades. They are difficult to catch because of their nimble flight through tangled undergrowth.
