- Notes - Scientific name: Princeps Demoleus. Popularly considered non-Philippine among the Papilio group. Seitz in,"Indo-Australian Butterflies," mentioned that this specie was presumably recorded from the Philippines in 1878. On the other hand, Takashi Shirozu in the, "Butterflies of Formosa," stated that this does not occur here. In late November 1967, a specimen was caught and is considered one of the pests causing great damage to our citrus plantations.
