| Notes |
- Notes - Scientific name: Sphingid. Hummingbird or hawk moth. Commonly called sphinx moth because their caterpillars raise the anterior segments of their bodies, and remaining motionless for sometime bear a fancied resemblance to the fabled sphinx. They have stout bodies and long , narrow wings , the front wings being much longer and pointed than the hind wings.
