- Notes - Watercolor. 50 x 35 cm. Carmelo One-man Exhibit, February 1972. Carmelo named his first boat, a yacht built in Hong Kong, after his wife Elvira. Thirty-eight feet long, with an auxiliary motor, it disappeared uinder mysterious circumstances and was never seen again after it sailed for Manila. The captain was an Australian named Peterson. (Alice Guillermo, Carmelo: His Life and Art, 1990).
