| Notes |
- Notes - Scientific name: Chelonia Mydas. In Chelonia mydas, sex differences are evident on casual examination of the young. The male has a bigger and longer tail than the female, and the shell underneath(plastron) of the former is slightly concave as in the land turtle. The tail of the male helps insure perfect mating which, together with the slight concave plastron, fits very well with the female carapace.
