| Notes |
- Notes - Photo of six-month old marine turtles transferred from the spawning ground to a nursery. In their original hatching hole, the young are packed together with their head oriented towards the surface in an inclined position. They move gradually and simultaneously push each other toward the surface. Observations show that hey can hardly push themselves upward unaided. It is usually during the night when the young leave hatching ground for the sea, done to protect themselves from enemies. Dogs and monitor lizards are usually not around the spawning grounds at night.
