| Notes |
- Notes - Puerta de Postigo is a small gate at the western side of Intramuros, built in 1785. It is the gate through which Dr. Jose P. Rizal was led out of the Walled City to the fields of Bagumbayan where he was executed on December 30, 1896. President Manuel L. Quezon was briefly imprisoned in one of its guardrooms during the early days of the American occupation. (Source: Intramuros: The Development of a 400-year-old Settlement, 1980)
